Below is a selection of funding opportunities that could be of interest to waterways organisations and initiatives. Please do use the links to check the information provided as funders are regularly updating their websites.

The National Lottery Heritage Fund has just announced that the £40-million Green Recovery Challenge Fund will be open for applications in September. The fund is aimed at charities and environmental organisations who are ready to deliver projects focused on nature restoration, nature-based solutions and engagement with nature. In addition, successful projects will be expected to support and create employment in the sector whilst delivering against the goals of the Government’s 25 Year Environment Plan. The Two Ridings Community Foundation has re-opened its Coronavirus Community Fund to organisations in North Yorkshire, York, East Riding of Yorkshire and Hull. The next deadlines are 17 August, 14 September, 12 October and 16 November of this year. For more information please visit:
