The Executive Committee

The Executive Committee includes eight members elected from the Joint Forum alongside standing representation from key stakeholder organisations. The Executive is responsible for overseeing delivery of the Waterways Strategy 2012-2020; managing partnership and project priorities; and resolving issues amongst different interest groups. The committee also provides direction to the Waterways Partnership Coordinator and other staff engaged to work on partnership business.

The Executive Committee meets at least four times a year and its members act as ambassadors for the wider partnership. They also raise funds through partners to ensure the sustainability of the group and undertake projects and initiatives that are agreed through the membership.
